When planning your perfect day, everything must be in place and quite often the cost of this determination for everything to go as planned is rather expensive. As when you break down all the costs of the big day it really puts into perspective why the cost is so dear, all the way from the wedding cake, which is on average around £250-£350, to the honeymoon, which 9n average is around £2000-£5000.
When taking into account the costs that is when the final total builds up, as every small detail must be perfected and expertly crafted for the day to run smoothly. On top of all the outfits and jewellery, you must be prepared to pay a great price for a photographer, to capture your happiness on the day as you reminisce over the pictures in years to come. You must also take into account paying the venue and the catering they provide as their service is often of the highest degree. Furthermore the entertainment throughout the night is down to personal choice and with this degree of freedom and personalisation, often come a costly price but on average the entertainment only costs around £700-£1000, which is significantly cheaper than other parts to the wedding.
Overall taking into account of every single small detail the night involves, the cost of an average wedding in the UK is around £24,000. But there is a vast difference in budgets, as 25% of newlyweds spent £5000 on their wedding day last year. So it goes to show how many variables there is in a wedding, that can significantly alter the price on your big day, as on the whole your wedding will be completely different to somebody else.
When taking into account the transport on your wedding day, you must analyse the car you are using. As if you want to arrive in style in a beautiful car you must be prepared to pay for all of its luxuries. To rent a limo to your venue it often only costs anywhere from £100-£200. But when choosing a singular sports car or luxury car for the bride and groom, this is where it is slightly more expensive. As the price point varies per car but this averagely costs around £200 and upwards, depending on how rare and luxurious the car is. On the whole the price of the car should not be too much of a concern as the day must be perfect for you and if you chose to cut costs, you may be regretting it in years to come. But as I previously stated the cost of weddings are down to what you personally want it to be like, and how you want to remember the day in years to come.
